I started by downloading 9 fonts from 'dafont.com'.
I looked under the sections called eroded and distorted. I thought these themes would appeal to the target audience as, like the Kerrang magazine i analysied, they generally enjoy loud music and the eroded and distored effects represents their passion and anger.
MAST
HEAD
I will be using font 7 for the Masthead. This is because it is a more Bold/Blocky font and stands out. It is also easier to read than some of the other fonts. The font is simular to the Kerrang font.
(Due to the licence of font 7, i had to choose a new font. The new font is number 10)

I won't be using leading and kerning on any fonts for my magazine. I understand that leading is the adjustment of space between lines, and kerning is adjustment of space between characters of type.
